It's time! Year Two of our Mighty Men of McKendree Kick-off Celebration is here. Year One was a good start, now we want to build on that and grow into a Mighty Force for our little corner of the Kingdom! Our gathering next Thursday (8/22) will of course include FOOD, FUN & FELLOWSHIP. See below for details and the RSVP link.

When: 8/22, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Food: We will kick off year two in grand style with a Low Country Boil, LCB, (perhaps to become an annual tradition?). This meal is a little more costly than most (but worth it!), so we'll ask for a minimum $10 donation. (don't let cost prevent you from coming!) The actual cooking will take place outside, adjacent to the Fellowship Hall, so if you've not seen how a LCB, see photo below, happens - or want to help, show up a little early. (BTW, we can cook a pot without the shrimp if anyone has shellfish allergies.)

Fun & Fellowship: In addition to some fun activities, we'll have 3 speakers from our Men of McKendree giving brief personal perspectives and generating table discussion topics.
