Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, and Girl Scouts will lead us in worship, demonstrating the values of service and community that Scouting instills. If you have ever been a part of the Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts we invite you to join us and be recognized for your accomplishments!

2024 COMMUNITY GIVING TREE - SIGNUP IS LIVE

We are helping 31 families this year! Because the families will pick up their gifts on Saturday, December 14th, the wrapped gifts need to be at the church under the Giving Tree by Wednesday, December 11. And, because time is short, the best way to give at this point would be to donate money and Crystal and Sarah can purchase the remaining gifts. Thank you!

Look out for the tree in the Narthex after decorating day. $25 per gift limit, new items only please. Return your wrapped gifts to the church by Wednesday, December 11, with a label with the item's gift code and adult or child's age/gender. Examples: Adult: 8A1 Adult, Child: 6B2 Female age 3. 

Let's share God's love by providing these families with gifts so they can have the best Christmas possible! $25 per gift limit, new items only please. If you would like to have something shipped, please include the item's gift code in the notes section. Ship to Crystal Cox, 310 Morning Glen Dr., Suwanee, GA 30024.

Trunk or Treat

It is that time again, Trunk or Treat in the McKendree UMC parking lot! Trunk or Treat will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on October 26, 2024. You can start setting up at 3:00 p.m. This ministry event expects to serve around 1000 people. Please sign up to decorate your trunk and pass out candy. Also, let me know if you will need electricity. If you have any questions, please contact Crystal Gombala  770-339-9801 or info@mckendreeumc.org.

VBS REGISTRATION IS LIVE!

McKendree UMC is excited for VBS this summer! The theme is Stellar: Launching kids on a cosmic quest where they’ll have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world!

VBS is for kids ages rising PreK (4yrs) through 6th grade. Each day builds on a simple phrase that reinforces a Bible lesson and includes music, games, snacks, and much more. Learn more.
